A friend had just bought a Panasonic 42 inch Plasma television the
TH-42PV500 and was looking to show it off, so we arranged a suitable time and I went round to see this Plasma TV.
I had always thought Plasma TVs were really expensive but I was pleasantly surprised, they, like all TVs at present have come down in price.
I was amazed buy the excellent, detailed picture the Panasonic had and after watching my test media it became clear that the
TH-42PV500 was in the top league.
After a most enjoyable session I arranged to look at more Panasonic Plasma television at a local dealers showroom.
The
TH-50PV500 was the logical step (bigger, better than my friends!), like the 42 incher it had a wicked black surround to the screen trimmed with silver and this one was in a curvy silver floor-stand.
The
TH-50PV500 had plenty of oomph! in the sound department (more than enough for me) even in very busy film shots (as in some of the battle scenes in Troy).
After testing out the
Panasonic Plasma television
picture I came to the same conclusion as the
TH-42PV500.
Although I did notice a slightly unnatural look to some greens, overall it was very impressive if not a bit dearer, well worth your time for a look!
