OLED or (Organic Light Emitting Diode) is finally upon us!
After years of being just prototypes being used in films such as Minority report, it is starting to reach us in: Mobile Phones, MP3 Players, lighting and recently at the CES a brilliant OLED TV was put on show.
"So what"... I hear you say, well OLED technology promises to be the future equivalent of the light bulb!!
Those very intelligent folk at Cambridge Display Technology in the UK have recently announced fantastic advances in their OLED technology, check out their recent press releases:
